My Fall TBR (To Be Read) List

I have been reading a lot lately. It seems that I can’t go into a store without sussing out the book section. I almost always end up grabbing a book. Which has resulted in me having about 10 books to read! So I have set the goal of reading six books this fall! I will listen to three and read three hard copies. I have already crossed two off of my list and I’m working on three and four now! My best friend’s book club has started back up and I am really excited about that! Let’s jump into my TBR book list! And for those of you who don’t know TBR is just an abbreviation for To Be Read.

Audible To Be (Listened) Read-

If you are wanting to read more books, audible is a great way to do that! I listen to books while cleaning, cooking, driving, and even while out for walks! I love that it has a timer too, so I can set it at night and don’t have to worry if I fall asleep, I won’t miss too much! Click the heading above to check out audible! Here is my audible TBR book list.

/1/ “Dial A for Aunties” by Jesse Q. Sutanto-

This is the one book I have finished! Before I even finished the book I was already recommending it to friends and family! This is a great book! I LOVED it! This mystery romance had me engaged from the beginning. From the first few chapters, I was hooked and listening every chance I got!
I loved how Meddy interacted with her family and the dynamic had me laughing out loud, then looking around to see if people were wondering why I was laughing! The second chance romance was unexpected and I loved that it happened! Even the mystery aspect of this story was quite humorous! This book would receive 5/5 stars for me and I look forward to reading the next book in the series.

/2/ “Seven Days in June” by Tia Williams-

I decided to get this book after seeing it just about everywhere! I purchased the audible version because it is a pretty long book and listening to it will be easier. I’ve started listening to this one already. One chapter in and I had to stop, not for the reason you think! I stopped and immediately texted my book club besties, “Demanding” (not really, but kind of 🤣) that we read this book to start our book club back up. I was pretty sure they would like this one!

So far I am enjoying this book and you can expect a review on it sometime this year! I am looking forward to another second chance romance book and hope that it doesn’t disappoint!

/3/ “The Last Summer” By Brandy Bruce-

This book is written by my friend’s cousins, in the best friends book club. So what’s better than supporting someone kind of close! I love a good romance and this book looks like it will not disappoint. This book is about seven friends, the main character having a crush on her best friend. It sounds like it will be full of heartache and new seasons of friendship. I look forward to diving into this one next!

/4/ “Love and Olives” by Jenna Evans Welch-

This is a thick book! I am just over halfway through it and enjoying this read! I have read two other books by this author and every time I am transported to the destinations. (You can grab the collection here) Her books take place in Europe. Being that I grew up traveling through Europe it is very easy to envision everything she describes. Even if you haven’t been, the way she describes everything makes you feel like you are there with all your senses!

Liv is pretty much forced to go stay with her dad in Greece for a couple of weeks! She hasn’t seen her dad in over eight years. She is leaving her boyfriend and missing their high school trip to go help her dad on a “Project” she knows nothing about, and her mom won’t drop any hints. I look forward to finding out how this book ends! Will she stay in Greece? Does she find new love? What will happen?

/5/ “Take A Hint Dani Brown” by Talia Hibbert-

I honestly don’t know what to expect with this one. I know it is part of a series so hopefully, I don’t need to read the first book to understand what is happening… Or maybe I will pick up the first in the series “Get a Life, Chloe Brown” and read that?!? I picked this book up because I saw that it was 1, a romance and 2, written by a British black author. The cover art pulled me in and intrigued me. After a brief skim through the book I saw a lot of British humor. I look forward to exploring this book and possibly the series!

“The Identicals” by Elin Hilderbrand-

Lastly, this is another book that I do not know anything about. I do know that it is by one of my favorite authors so I am just going to say I know it will be good! My mum gave me this one to read. She enjoyed it so that is a telltale sign that I will most likely enjoy it as well! After reading the summary of this book, it looks like it will be different from the other books I have read by Elin Hilderbrand. I look forward to diving into this one and discovering what tore the sisters apart, and what brings them back together!

These are the six books that I put on my TBR book list at the beginning of fall. I can’t wait to dive in and finish them all! I will be sure to update you and provide a review on what I thought of each of these books, at the end of Fall! Be sure to check out some of my book reviews by clicking here!
