What’s In my Baby Bag
This being my second baby I am a bit more prepared for what to expect. I donโt plan on bringing a lot to the hospital, although I donโt think we did with Moose either. But here you will find what my must haves are and what we plan to bring in our baby bag, my bag and toddlers bag.
I have a lot more to think about this pregnancy. With having Moose and not being close to family we must be extra prepared. My parents are planning to be here, but you know babies are unpredictable! And Moose came (safely) 12 days early, so who knows what this lil one will do!?!? If my parents are not here, Moose will stay with a good friend of mine, meaning he needs a bag too!
I am still 2 months out from my due date, but I have made a list and started packing our bags. I have 3 bags I need to pack and I will share my list for each!

Baby Diaper Bag
–Diapers x10 (most hospitals provide diapers too)
-Wipes
-PJs x2
-Outfits x2 (we donโt know how big baby will be so I will bring a newborn outfit and a 0-3 month outfit)
-Blanket
–Mittens and Hat
-Swaddle ( the muslin type and Velcro type)

Like I said I am still 2ish months away from baby being born, so who knows, I may add or remove some things from the baby bag list between now and then! I am however trying to keep mine and babyโs bag minimal! And this is a list of the essentials that I feel all moms should have.
For Moose I just want to make sure he is comfortable, should he end up at a friendโs house instead of home with my parents! So, I am willing to over pack a bit for him!
Pregnancy Update:
I feel that it is only fitting that I do a baby update while here! I am currently 30 weeks pregnant and feeling every bit of it! Baby is very active and moves around all day! I donโt know if I feel more this time because Iโm not working or if they are just more activeโฆ Moose DID NOT move this much!
Baby moves so much that I donโt even have to do fetal movement counts like I did with Moose. For those of you who donโt know, at a certain point in pregnancy it is suggested that moms do fetal movement counts, counting the times they feel baby move in an hour. With Moose I went to the hospital because I had a day where I didnโt feel him move. So far I havenโt even had to count because baby makes themselves known! I love that I feel baby so much and wonder if its any indication of what their personality will be??

I am also feeling very uncomfortable for most of the day now. After I eat breakfast its as if baby moves up into my sternum and it gets super uncomfortable. This has started causing me to have bad heartburn also. This is not uncommon but that doesnโt make it any easier. It makes sitting hard and my belly is getting heavy so standing is also uncomfortable.
We have started to prepare a little bit for baby around the house lately. Hubby set up the baby bassinet as I had taken it apart because its so big. We started buying things like diapers and sent out our registry to friends and family! This week I will be going through our baby kitchen items and clothes I kept from Moose. Time to start getting organized!
Let the nesting begin!
