2022 Goals & Planner
2022 Goals and Planning
This year feels like it’s already been a blur. We are 2 weeks in and my family has already celebrated 2 birthdays, I’ve already finished 2 books, and Melvin and I have already gone on a date night. This seems like a great start to my new year and 2022 goals, which I will talk about more down below!
If you have read my older posts, you may have stumbled across my new year goals from a few years back! Each year I prefer to make goals for the upcoming year instead of resolutions. I find it easier to set goals and find it more practical for my lifestyle.
In 2021 my goals were to work out 4 times a week, do 10 mins of yoga daily, read 2 books a month and BE HAPPY! I don’t think I did terribly at this, staying consistent about 8 months of the year. I read more than 2 books a month and I am really proud of this!
2022 Goals
My 2022 goals are going to be more about consistency. That means some of my goals will be weekly goals, some will be daily and some are just… goals. I don’t want to put too much pressure on myself because then I’m just setting myself up for failure. When making goals I want to set myself up to succeed. It has taken me a few years to recognize this and I am glad I have now.
To start setting myself up for success I personally need a good planner, notebook, and journal! And in 2022 I am starting my year with my Ivory Paper Co planner, a notebook I’ve used for a while, and a new journal I picked up from Books a Million using a Christmas gift card! Keep reading to find out more about my 2022 goals and how I plan to use my planner, notebook, and journal!

My Planner
As I mentioned above I will be using my Ivory Paper Co planner! Last year I didn’t buy this planner when I first discovered it and I was kicking myself. I finally got it for myself when I decided to start this blog in the summer of 2021. (You can check out my planner review here) I picked up the Navy Floral pattern and I love it! There is space for everything I need with the layout I got. My layout includes monthly, weekly, and daily pages! I will purchase this planner again once mine is finished in March!

How I Use My Planner
Typically I will plan on Sundays. I plan my week as much as I can, writing down my goals, appointments, blog posts, and anything else I need to keep track of. At the end of each month, I will plan for the month ahead as much as I can. Then almost every day I will take about 5 minutes to look at the month and week view before writing what I have to do that day. This may be a lot for some people but this works the best for me!
I also like to use stickers and colorful pens. My favorite pens are flair pens but I also like the gel ocity. I grabbed some new ones to keep myself motivated! Lately, I have been writing more in just black ink so I think I will be purchasing more of the gel ocity pens in black. Some weeks I don’t feel motivated to use stickers but I really want to stay consistent this year! I look forward to checking in and sharing how my goals are going throughout this year!
Don’t forget to share some of your goals with me in the comments below and vote on which planner you think I should get for the year!!!
