A Real Life Update, I’m Pregnant!
So let’s be honest, I’ve been pretty MIA here lately! Yes, we recently moved and are adjusting to a new state, house, and schedule, but there is more… I’m pregnant!
Yep, we are having a baby!
It wasn’t my intention to “hide” this pregnancy but, I also haven’t felt the need to share it with the world outside of my family and close friends.
My pregnancy with Moose was an easy one, however at our 20-week anatomy scan we discovered he had cysts on his lungs. Ultimately that resulted in him having surgery to remove them at 7 months old “just in case” because they didn’t know what they were. Now he lives a completely normal life, being just as crazy, fun, and wild as other toddlers, including the tantrum-throwing 😂.
With this being said I think it is why I wasn’t as “open” about my current pregnancy. We have now made it past the halfway mark, and everything is looking great with this pregnancy. Not to say that it’s been easy! NOT AT ALL. This pregnancy has been quiet opposite from Moose. From extreme nausea and needing medication to help to overwhelming exhaustion, all while chasing a toddler, it has been pretty crazy. There were lots of days when it was hard to function. I am now feeling mostly “normal” again and getting some energy back, enjoying being pregnant!
Creating a Baby Registry?

Boy or Girl?
We are all super excited to be having a new addition to the family and Melvin and I are excited to see Moose become a big brother! We’ve decided to keep the gender a surprise until birth, although both Melvin and I think we are having a girl. Also, Moose said he wants a sister… he has no idea what that means though 🤣. I guess we will all be surprised come September!

So, yep this is the downlow on why I haven’t been as active on my blog or Instagram! We can’t wait to welcome our new baby into the world!
