Stocking Stuffer Ideas for the Whole Family

Growing up my family didn’t really do stocking stuffers. We hung stockings but it was more for decoration! As I got older we had them occasionally. Hanging and opening stockings is a tradition I knew I wanted to have with my family. So Melvin and I started this when we first moved in together. We usually keep in small and simple! Here are a few stocking stuffer ideas.

In the past we have opened our stockings the night before Christmas, which is super fun and exciting tradition! As Moose gets older we may add PJ’s to his stocking that he can wear Christmas Eve. I have also toyed with the idea of a Christmas Eve box with Pjs, a book, a movie, and hot coco, but we shall see.

I wish we had a fire place to hang the stockings like Melvin and I did our first 2 years together, but for now we will have to find somewhere else to hang them! Where do you hang your stockings? Do you have any fun stocking traditions?
