Our Favorite Coffee Shops in Pensacola
Are you visiting Pensacola? Are you new to the area? Here is a list of tried and true coffee shops in the area!
Downtown Pensacola Coffee Shops
Bodacious Brew and Shops-
Here you will find yummy breakfast items, a couple of our favorites are eggs and potatoes and their quiche, along with their hand crafted coffee or my go to, matcha latte. You can peruse their oil store and even take cooking classes here. My mum and I attended their ladies night charcuterie board class, which was very informative and fun! They have loads of oils and vinaigrettes to try in the store, our favorites are the garlic oil and the rosemary oil, we cook pretty much everything with them! You can even taste them before buying. They have a small kitchenware store located upstairs where you can find some very unique equipment! Located on the corner of Palafox and Main, it is super easy to get to.
Bodacious Brew Thru-
Looking for something quick? The bodacious brew thru offers coffee, tea, smoothies, and quick snacks. If you aren’t wanting to go through the drive through, they have outdoor seating with umbrellas and even have a small kids area. This is one of Moose’ favorite places downtown. They have a small water feature he loves running through on hot days. The play area also has fun musical spots, a sand pit, and different nature aspects providing lots of opportunity for children to explore and learn! My favorite drink here is the caramel latte!
Bodacious Bookstore and Café-
This is probably our family favorite! We love books so stopping for lunch in the café and looking around the bookstore is perfect for a rainy day, or a hot day… or just any day! They have delicious coffee options, wonderful sandwiches, and tasty desserts. If you have read my weekend recap from a few weeks ago you will know that I LOVED the Fig, Bacon and Brie Panini and their funfetti cookies! If you haven’t read it be sure to check it out here, as it has more information about this location!
Fosko Coffee Barre-
This place has delicious sweet and savory crepes, and coffee. It is a good place to work away from the desk. At our breakfast date with Mark Anthony and Avery here, we tried the Mushroom Swiss with eggs and spinach, Crapezilla with bacon, spinach, tomatoes, onions, mushrooms, cheese and salsa, and they shared the Strawberry banana and Nutella. Fosko is open until 8 and offer a cocktail menu as well!
Mrs. Jones-
*Mrs. Jones physical store has closed, however you can still find their cold brews all over the Pensacola area. Click here to see where you can buy their coffee*
Although I haven’t been into their actual location, we have purchased their coffee elixirs at the Palafox market. While at the market we tried and purchased nitro brews, they were delicious and the owners are really nice. They offer great information about their coffee elixirs including pro tips on how to make the perfect concoctions at home! We look forward to trying out their coffee shops soon! You can find their elixirs for sale in many places around Pensacola, one being AJs Market and Ice Cream that I mentioned in a previous blog post.
The Nest-
This place is very aesthetically pleasing and offers some delicious food! My mum and I enjoyed an early lunch here where I devoured the garden hash, and my mum enjoyed the everything bagel! It isn’t often that I will eat everything on my plate, but I didn’t leave any scraps behind after enjoying this! They also have gluten free options that are decently priced so we grabbed a donut for Moose, and he couldn’t eat it fast enough!
The Drowsy Poet-
If you are visiting, you may have seen this coffee shop at the airport. They also have 2 other locations around Pensacola. We have been to both, and they are equally as nice. I usually get a caramel macchiato, but every once in awhile I will switch it up. This past weekend we went through the drive thru and I got the Shakespeare (coffee flavored with chocolate and hazelnut) and Melvin got the Milton (coffee flavored with chocolate and caramel). This week I tried the Poe, this coffee has chocolate and raspberry, which is always a favorite of mine, it did not disappoint! If you choose to go inside you will find that is a cozy, read a book, kind of place!
My favorite-
Although I love all of these coffee shops I would say my favorite coffee shop in Pensacola is the Brew Thru. I love this one because of the outdoor play area for Moose! He really enjoys exploring all the different aspects of the garden and has even started to enjoy the sand pit! It has a shaded area where I can enjoy my drink and safely watch him play. We also discovered that it has a bathroom which is perfect now that we are potty training Moose! Whether you live here or are visiting I hope that this post has helped you find some new places to try! Do you have a favorite coffee shop in the Pensacola area, not mentioned?
