Birthday Fun
Suntrust Park Atlanta
My brother visited for the last time this past weekend. He Came up on Friday night and we went to get drinks to kick off my birthday weekend. Once we got freshened up we headed down to The Battery at Suntrust Park Atlanta. I hadn’t been yet and was excited to explore. We sure were surprised! It was full of new restaurants and bars, a few stores and more to come. There is also a new concert venue. After walking around and taking a few pictures we settled at a huge sports bar and ordered some drinks.
The Next Day
The next day we got up and got to work loading my car and moving my stuff into storage. We were worn out but got some iced coffees and got ready to go out for lunch. We went to Marietta Square to go get some british snacks and food.
And of course, I had to get my bubble tea, which I failed to take a picture of. Later that day we went for dinner at Antico for pizza.
They have a new one at the Battery, so it is very convenient. Suntrust Park Atlanta quickly became my new favorite place to hang out. We got drinks and my best friend stopped by to say hi.
Sunday- Atlanta United
We were super excited about Sunday because we were going to out first Atlanta United Football (soccer) game. This is their inaugural year and Atlanta fans were extremely pumped up! We did a quick work out before we went, consisting of cardio and legs for me and cardio and arms for Taurean, my brother.
Then, we headed to the game on yet another very hot day! It was an all around great experience. We had a lot of fun cheering on the team with our fellow Atlanta Fans and learning the new cheers.
Monday was my birthday and Atlanta Aquarium does free entry on your birthday. I took the day of from work and we took advantage of the free entry. I love Aquariums and the Atlanta Aquarium is by far my favorite. We watched the Sea Lion show and I petted the Sting Rays. We took our time walking around the Aquarium but weren’t ready to head home yet, so we went for a walk through downtown. Then we stopped for more (free) birthday coffee and tried to find somewhere to eat.
When we got home I had a nice surprise from my best friend in Europe. She surprised me with an Edible Arrangement because she knows how much I love fruit and being healthy!
This was By Far the BEST Birthday Weekend Ever!! It was great to spend my last birthday in Atlanta with my brother. If you enjoyed this blog, check out how I spent my 30th birthday in this post!
