A Day Feeding Ducks and Enjoying Fosko Pensacola

A Cool Day In Pensacola

The weather is FINALLY starting to cool down in Florida. And by cool down I mean it’s still in the low 70s/80s, but that is better than the 90s! In the mornings it has even been in the high 60s which has been wonderful! Check out how we spent our morning feeding ducks and eating at Fosko Pensacola!

This week we didn’t have many plans set in place other than to hang out with a friend and enjoy the weather. We were supposed to meet up with my friend Kym and her baby for a walk on base. However, I suggested we go for a walk downtown instead so we could wear some cute fall attire! I decided to wear a knit sweater from H&M, my favorite jeans from Rewash (click here), black Birkenstocks, and my olive colored purse (click here). And Moose wore a matching set from Patpat.

Veterans Memorial Park Pensacola

We met up at Veterans Memorial Park on the outskirts of downtown. This park is beautiful with a pond and a nice walking path around it. We walked a couple of laps around the park and then let Moose feed the ducks! My parents had taken Moose the day before and suggested taking something to feed the ducks. As soon as we pulled out the food, ducks started quickly waddling toward us and Moose thought it was hilarious. We were quickly surrounded by the ducks begging for more food. Moose really enjoyed throwing them food and wanted to keep giving them more. Next time I will be sure to take more food for the ducks.

Once we finished at the park, we decided to walk into town. One thing I like about hanging out with Kym is that she doesn’t mind walking! We walked into town stopping at Bodacious Café and Bookstore. I wanted to see if Moose would go potty and we wanted to get some drinks. I got a Caramel Latte with soy milk, it was really tasty. We were hoping they would have their gluten-free cookies, but we were out of luck. We browsed the bookstore before heading to go get lunch.

Fosko Pensacola

Kym wanted to try Nomadics so we headed that way, unfortunately, it was closed so we will have to try there again another day. We ended up going to Foskos for crepes. I got the Irish Breakfast crepe and Kym got the bacon, apple, and brie crepe. We both enjoyed our crepes and kept saying how delicious they were! Fosko has delicious crepes, I have also tried their strawberry, banana, Nutella crepe which is a classic, and the mushroom and swiss crepe. You can see a full Fosko Pensacola review here. Before leaving, I decided to get a drink to go. They have delicious blackberry matcha that I’m becoming addicted to!

We headed back to our cars, chatting along the way. Moose was hilarious, telling all the cars to “GO, GO, GO” at each stop sign we passed. I am glad we decided to walk through town because I hadn’t explored this side much. The houses and apartments were nice and beautifully decorated for fall and Halloween! Seeing the décor has put me in the spirit to do more fall things. Moose and I will be decorating pumpkins this week. We already have our costumes, I got them on clearance after Halloween last year, we will be a family of nice monsters. I also think I will be making some soup or chili this week.
